Thunder Defeat Irish in Wild One!

Sat afternoon saw the first meeting of the original 2 WOSHL franchises. It was worth the price of admission. The Thunder were quick out the gate and built a 5-0 lead to about midway of the 2nd.  The Irish scored the next 4 including a shortie. and the game sat at 5-4 with 5 mins to play. After a spirited tilt involving Mike Rebry Captain and Mav Petrie of the Irish. The Thunder responded, a beauty of a pass off his back by Andrew Tapsell to Mitch Green to put the game out of reach for the Irish. Kurtis Christo with a great solo effort capped the scoring. The Thunder win 7-4 and move to 3-1 on the season. Next up is a trip to Alvinston to take on the Bees Sat at 6:30pm
