Solid Win Sat Night! 5-3 Over Squires!

With an old rivalry being rekindled, this game did not disappoint! 

Petrolia took the 1-0 lead into the 1st intermission and the Thunder responded with a very solid 2nd period going into the intermission up 3-2. the thunder would add two more in the 3rd and Petrolia would get one late to make it a 5-3 final. Good start for the thunder.

Newcomer Brandon Cuoto set up Jamie Macqueen in the 2nd for the 1st goal for the Thunder this season. Cuoto would later get into a pretty good dust up and get ejected from the game. New comer Sheldon Thompson with two assists, Jamie Macqueen with 1 goal and a beauty apple. Mitch Fitzmorris and new signed Spencer Hutchinson showed some early season Chemistry. Spencer with 2 goals on set ups from Fitzy. Another great effort by Matt Sagrott in net and all around good first team win.
